Frequently Asked Questions

One serving: 600mg of NMN and 20mg of PQQ, L-Ergothioneine.

NMN (Nicotinamide mononucleotide) is a molecule your body already makes and uses. It's a direct precursor toNAD+— a coenzyme found in every one of your cells that helps power energy production, DNA repair, and metabolism.
The catch: your NAD+ levels naturally decline as you age. NMN is one of the most-studied ways to support them.

Because taking NAD+ directly doesn't work well and the molecule isn't stable enough to reliably raise your NAD+ levels. NMN is a step earlier in the pathway and converts efficiently once it's in your system. That's why the research (and the field's leading longevity scientists) focus on NMN.

Here's the thing nobody tells you: not all NMN is the same. The powder inside two capsules can look identical and be worlds apart in purity, residue, and safety. This is where ROKIT NMN earns its place.

How pure is the ROKIT America NMN?

More than 99%.
ROKIT America developed its own ultra-high-purity NMN raw material : pure NMN, with not even 0.1% impurity tolerated.

Purity was verified by internationally accredited third-party labs, and a Certificate of Analysis backs it up.

Why does purity matter so much?

Because you take NMN every single day. Even a tiny amount of impurity can add up in your body over months of daily use and that's especially a concern for sensitive individuals and older adults. High purity isn't a flex; for something you take daily, it's the whole point.

You say "zero harmful substances." What does that actually mean?

Two things, both tested and verifiable:

  1. Heavy metals — not detected. Arsenic, cadmium, and lead all came back below the detection limit (ICP-MS testing). Mercury tested more than 30x below Korea's food-safety (MFDS) standard.
  2. Residual solvents — not detected.

Wait — what's the deal with solvents? Making NMN involves purifying and extracting, which usually means solvents. Here's the catch a lot of brands gloss over: many raw materials are labeled "harmful solvent not detected" or "below threshold." That often means a harsh solvent (like methanol, a Class 2 organic solvent) was used — it was just removed down to an acceptable residue.

ROKIT took a different route: a "clean process" that uses only food-grade ethanol (an ICH Q3C Class 3, low-toxicity solvent) in trace amounts — no Class 2 solvents like methanol anywhere in the process. All process aids comply with Korea's official Food Additives Code.

The result? Residual ethanol falls below our instrument's limit of detection (LOD: 5 ppm) and is reported as "not detected." That's still at least 1,000× lower than the ICH Q3C pharmaceutical residual-solvent limit for ethanol (5,000 ppm) — meaning whatever trace is left is functionally zero. When we say "zero harmful substances," this is what we mean, and there's lab data to show it.

Has the raw material been safety-tested beyond purity? Yes — and thoroughly. ROKIT's R&D team ran a full toxicology battery through a GLP-certified research institution, following both OECD guidelines and Korea's MFDS toxicity-testing standards. That includes acute single-dose (OECD TG 423), 28-day repeat-dose (OECD TG 407), and 90-day repeat-dose (OECD TG 408) studies, plus a mutagenicity battery (Ames / OECD TG 471), chromosomal aberration (OECD TG 473), and additional genotoxicity testing. Most supplement-grade NMN never goes through this.

Does the quality hold up over time? It does. In stability testing under ICH Q1A(R2) accelerated conditions (40°C ± 2°C / 75% RH ± 5% RH, 6 months), ROKIT NMN held above 99% on both purity and assay. Translation: it doesn't quietly degrade on the shelf.

Anything else that makes the raw material better? A couple of things you can literally see:

  • Fluidity: ROKIT NMN is a free-flowing powder, so it fills capsules evenly and consistently (accurate dose in every capsule) and doesn't clump during storage. Lower-quality NMN tends to cake, absorb moisture, and fill unevenly.
  • Solubility: It dissolves completely clear in water — a sign of purity that also supports faster absorption. (Low-percentage plant extracts, by contrast, often won't fully dissolve and leave sediment behind.)

Is there real science behind NMN, or is it just hype?

Fair question — the longevity space is noisy. The honest version: human studies consistently show NMN reliably raises NAD+ levels. Beyond that, early research points to potential support for areas like physical function, metabolism, and insulin sensitivity. What's not proven in humans yet: anything about "living longer" or "reversing aging." Anyone promising that is selling a story, not science.

Will I feel it? Like an energy boost?

Maybe, maybe not — and that's normal. NMN isn't caffeine; there's no jolt. Most people describe subtle changes over weeks, not a switch flipping on day one. Set expectations accordingly and you won't be disappointed.

How long until I notice anything?

Most clinical trials run 8–12 weeks. Give it at least that long. This is a slow, steady thing.

How is NMN different from NR (nicotinamide riboside)?

Both are NAD+ precursors in the vitamin B3 family. NMN sits one step closer to NAD+ in the pathway, which is part of why it draws so much attention. We built this formula around NMN.

NMN vs. resveratrol — what's the difference?

Different jobs. NMN feeds the NAD+ pathway; resveratrol (and its better-absorbed cousin, pterostilbene) is studied for supporting the enzymes that use NAD+. That's exactly why our formula pairs NMN with pterostilbene — you get the more bioavailable partner.

Is NMN even legal to sell?

In the U.S., yes. The FDA reversed its earlier position in late 2025 and confirmed NMN can be marketed as a dietary supplement, which is why it's widely available again

Any side effects?

For most people, NMN and pterostilbene sit well at normal servings. A minority notice mild effects like digestive discomfort, nausea, or a headache. If anything feels off, stop and check with a healthcare professional.

Can I take it with my other supplements?

Generally yes — multivitamins, minerals, omega-3 are usually fine. Just don't stack it with other high-dose NAD+ boosters (like separate NR or niacin) without checking, so you're not overlapping.

I'm on medication. Am I good?

Check with your doctor or pharmacist first — especially if you take blood thinners, blood pressure meds, or diabetes meds. Pterostilbene may affect how some medications are processed.

Pregnant, nursing, or under 18?

Not recommended for these groups — there isn't enough safety data yet.

I've got surgery coming up.

Pause it beforehand and talk to your medical team. Polyphenols like pterostilbene can potentially affect blood clotting.

Coffee? Alcohol?

Coffee's fine — no known interaction. We'd skip pairing it with alcohol; this works best as part of a generally healthy routine.

Is this a medicine?
No. It's a dietary supplement, not a drug, and isn't meant to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. If you're managing a health condition, talk to your doctor before starting.

How do I store it?

Cool, dry, out of direct sun. NMN doesn't love heat or humidity, so keep the lid sealed tight and skip the bathroom cabinet. The fridge is a great option for long-term freshness.

Can I use it past the expiration date?

Don't — NMN can lose potency over time. When it's expired, retire it.

How do I know the quality claims are legit?

Because they're third-party verified, not self-declared. Purity (>99%), heavy-metal and residual-solvent testing, and the GLP toxicology studies were all run through accredited external labs, and a Certificate of Analysis is available on request. In a category where anyone can print a number on a label, we'd rather show the receipts.
